When four young singers are killed in a car crash, they posthumously take the stage for one final gig in this goofy, 1950s nostalgic trip. Forever Plaid is a heartwarming story about finally fulfilling your dreams even after death. This comedic and inspiring story is filled with familiar tunes and memorable vignettes as our four characters grapple with putting on the show they always dreamed of for their biggest audience ever.

Please keep the evening of Wednesday, November 19th open for dance auditions @ 7p and callbacks.
Please prepare a 30-60 second cut of a musical theatre song to be sung with piano accompaniment or track. You may choose a song from Forever Plaid or a song that fits the style of the show and showcases your voice. Bring sheet music for accompaniment (accompanist will be provided) or a track that can be played from your phone and connected to a wireless Bluetooth speaker.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:
Francis/Frankie (Second Tenor, Lyric Baritone): The leader and caretaker. He has the most confidence. He takes care of his fellow PLAIDS and makes sure that everyone knows where they're supposed to be and what happens next. He has asthma.
Jinx (Tenor): The shy one. He lives life terrified. He doesn't always remember the next song or his next move and occasionally gets a nosebleed when he sings above an A. Sparky's stepbrother.
Smudge (Bass): The worrier. He worries about everything and assumes the audience won't like him. He has a chronic nervous stomach and is a reluctant performer.
Sparky (Baritone): The clown. The comic engine, he is always cracking jokes. He loves singing and telling stories. He wears a retainer and has a slight speech impediment. Jinx's stepbrother.
