Volunteer: Signature Ensemble Auditions

AUDITIONS: 

Sign up for ONE, 30-minute audition on Saturday, November 1.  Anyone aged 18+ is welcome to audition but it is recommended that you have performed in at least one mainstage production at QCT. 

After audition registration, the script of a classic play will be available for pickup at the QCT offices. All auditioners must read the play in its entirety before the audition. After reading the script, actors must select and bring a1-page scene from the play to auditions. The scene must include a character they would like to perform, and actors should be prepared to read with others for their scenes. Please bring the full script with you to auditions. Please note: This audition process will be non-traditional, highly collaborative and deeply self-reflective. The purpose of this class is to create a safe yet challenging space where actors can jump into characters and material that push their capabilities to new heights .We are looking for ensemble members who are just as willing and excited to grow their own acting skills while supporting their peer's growth as well.

Our guest Lighting Designer Shannon Elliott would appreciate help hanging and focusing lights for our December production of Into the Woods  Experience ranges from any level to skilled.  It is helpful if you are comfortable with heights as climbing ladders may be needed.  Also lifting heavy equipment and some work at the lightboard may be required.

Come whenever you can between the hours of 10a-5p on Monday, November 17 and Tuesday, November 18.  You do not need to commit to the entire day.
